The Foster Grandparent Program hosted a 9-11 Memorial Service on September 10th in the New Opportunities, Inc. Courtyard. Participants included New Opportunities, Inc. CEO William Rybczyk, HR Director Patricia Donovan, State Representative Geraldo Reyes, Jr, Mayoral Aide Monroe Webster, State Representative Larry Butler, as well as Rodney and Ressie Parker of Klub Hope.
In addition, a book that tells the inspiring story of the National 9/11 Flag,“30,000 Stitches,” was donated to Raechel Guest, Director of the Silas Bronson Library, in memory of Gregory Spagnoletti by Barbara Genovese and Karen Heath representing all the Foster Grandparents.
