1 day per week commitment (3-4 hours), January 25 - April 15

Volunteer tax preparers work one-on-one with clients to prepare accurate tax returns. A financial background is helpful, but NOT necessary! Training is provided by the IRS prior to the start of tax season to ensure that all volunteers are comfortable with the basics of tax preparation and with the tax preparation software, and ongoing support is provided on-site during the tax season.

VITA Volunteers are needed in the Greater Waterbury, Meriden, and Torrington communities.
