Holiday Toy Drive
Established in 1987, New Opportunities Holiday Toy Drive benefits boys and girls, from newborns to 18 years of age, living in the greater Waterbury area.
In 2009, our Holiday Toy Drive handed out more than $15,000 in gifts to more than 1,000 deserving children through the support of our major donors, Connecticut State Police Troop A and the Greater Waterbury Chamber of Commerce, as well as the many generous donations from individuals and businesses in the area.
Signing up to Receive Toys
Clients with children up to 18 years of age are eligible to receive toys. To request a toy, please fill out the following Toy Request Form and return it to your case worker / family service worker no later than two (2) weeks prior to the Christmas Holiday. Please note that this application does not guarantee that a toy will be available. Availability of toys is dependent on the generosity of our donors.
